Vitamin B12 is one of the B vitamins needed to maintain a healthy body. Vitamin B12, also known as Cobalamin, is needed to convert the carbohydrates, fats, and proteins in food into energy. More importantly, B12 also helps keep red blood cells healthy, thereby preventing heart disease and keeping the immune system running at peak performance.

THE IMPORTANCE OF VITAMIN B12 |
The most important function of 12B is the formation of healthy red blood cells. However, all cells need B12 to be healthy. Among other things, white blood cells need B12 for the immune system to function properly.
All nerve
cells in the body also need 12B to form a protective layer of fat. It is needed for all nerves, but
especially for the brain. Without
enough 12B to form this protective layer,
the brain will not function properly.
